The Galleries Show 2 is an iteration of the namesake art fair project at Extra City in Antwerp in 2005. The second edition will be running from Thursday 6 thru Sunday 9 October in a former gym on Everdijstraat in Antwerp. The exhibition venue is part of a 1970’s storefront shopping mall that was shaped after a beehive.

The Galleries Show 2 is a 4-day co-op art fair project that invites 8 galleries to bring single or two-person presentations. This edition will be devoted to redefining the local in post-covid times. How do galleries and art spaces find new balances between local events and reaching larger audiences? What are current needs and how can these be addressed by existing presentation and support structures? The Galleries Show 2 as a project stimulates galleries to develop new and shared practices.

The Galleries Show 2 is organised by Kraft Studios & Office Baroque.
